Silver hallmarked fusee pocket watch signed R Strang, Alloa. Alloa is a small town of Scotland with a current population of around 14,000. Would have been tiny around the time this was made. Hallmarks place the piece to 1872. Interestingly case is hallmarked for London. Watch has its chain, wound slightly to test it and it ticks a couple of times but will stop. Balance is good. Selling as a restoration piece.
