Hard to find Omega Staybrite steel watch case with calibre 26.5 movement. Serial number on the movement puts this piece to around 1935. If watches could tell a story, I wonder if this was ever worn as part of the efforts during World War II… Totally unrestored and untouched and ready for the watchmaker to get stuck into or the hobbyist. Movement is not running, the balance is not currently attached to the balance cock, I am unsure if the balance is good or not or will need replacing. Watch currently fully wound. Time setting works correctly. Case measures 30.5mm in diameter.
