DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed. To fit, place the collar around your dog’s neck and slide the free end through the buckle. Tighten the collar, leaving enough room to insert two fingers between the collar and neck. If fitted to a growing dog, remember to loosen the collar regularly. Cut off any excess collar. Replace collar when release of powder no longer occurs. Only a short period of a tick or flea’s lifecycle is spent on an animal. Therefore many adult and immature ticks and fleas can be found in the home environment. To ensure effective control of ticks and fleas it is important to treat both the animal as well as the surrounding environment. In severe cases it might be necessary to treat repeatedly for a couple of months. The BOB MARTIN Treatment Cycle can assist in ensuring effective tick and flea control in 3 easy steps: First, dip or shampoo your dog with an appropriate insecticidal product such as BOB MARTIN Clear Plus Tick & Flea Shampoo for Dogs. Then after one week either: Apply an insecticidal tick & flea spot product such as BOB MARTIN Clear Plus Spot-On for Dogs following the instructions provided on the pack, OR fit a BOB MARTIN Clear Plus Tick & Flea Collar for Dogs to your dog. For environmental control, treat regular resting places with a suitable insecticide and vacuum these areas regularly. Where there is very high flea and tick challenge, it will be necessary to use a tick and flea control programme. For better result if is advisable to rid your pet of ticks and fleas prior to applying a BOB MARTIN Tick & Flea Collar For Dogs. BOB MARTIN Flea & Tick Collar For Dogs are in impregnated with a micro fine chemical powder which is released slowly by the dog’s natural movement. Use BOB MARTIN Tick & Flea Collar For Dogs to extend the protection period between treatments. PRECAUTIONS: Do not open the protective pouch until you are ready to use the collar. Do not shake off any powder that may have accumulated on the collar during storage. Keep the collar away from the dog’s mouth as it is harmful if swallowed. If you notice any signs of skin irritation or any other adverse reactions, remove the collar immediately. Only use other pesticides on your dog while the collar is being worn if it is in accordance with the label directions of those pesticides. Remove the collar when bathing your dog. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst fitting the collar. Wash hands thoroughly after fitting or touching the collar. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Care should be taken to prevent powder from getting into the eyes. Should this occur, flush the eyes with water. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons.
