Dolthene Suspension for oral administration for dogs. Can be dispensed over food or directly into the mouth. Dolthene is a palatable broad-spectrum anthelmintic to control gastrointestinal worm and tapeworm infections in puppies and adult dogs. The suspension is active against both adult and larval stages and also kills worm eggs. Target species Dog Active substance Oxfendazole 22.65 mg per ml Indication Controls gastrointestinal worm and tapeworm infections in puppies and adult dogs. Gastrointestinal worms: Toxocara canis, Toxoscaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala and Trichuris vulpis. Tapeworms: Taenia pisiformis and Dipylidium caninum. Contraindications None. Dosage and method of administration Route of administration: orally, directly into the mouth or over feed. Dosage: 10 mg oxfendazole (=0.44 ml) per kg body weight per day, for 3 consecutive days. Via the included dosing syringe, the correct dosage per kg body weight is easy to read. 1 full syringe is sufficient for 10 kg body weight (=4.4 ml).
