Description A1 Acrylic Easy Seal is a water-based coating that can be used to protect A1 against weather conditions like UV and moisture. A1 Acrylic Easy Seal is a so-called breathable coating. The surface to be sealed must be free of wax, oil, dirt or dust. Apply with a brush, roller, soft cloth or spray it on. Easy seal is ready to use, and should not be diluted.  If applying A1 Easy Seal with a brush, it must be rubbed in with a dry cloth while it is still damp. Apply a maximum of 3 layers of A1 Easy Seal to the A1 object as described above. Each layer can be applied one after the other, with a short drying time of just several minutes between the application of each layer. If applying with a soft cloth, 1 layer of A1 Sealer is available in a Matt, Satin, or a Gloss finish. A more gloss finish will be achieved if a number of layers are applied. If applied with a brush, 1kg of A1  Easy Seal will cover an area of 8 to 10 m2. If spray applying A1 Easy Sealer, we advise customers to add up to 20% water to the A1 Super Sealer. As the A1 Acrylic Easy Seal atomises, it is not necessary to polish the object afterwards. If spray applying, 1 kg of A1 Easy Seal will cover an area of 10 to 12 m2. Click here to watch a video on how to use A1 Super Sealer: Avoid applying thick layers of A1 Super Sealer, as this will seal the A1 object. Thinner layers will also avoid the risk of whitening. We advise customers to have treated surfaces inspected every year and, if necessary, treated with A1 Super Sealer again every 6 years. If this advice is followed, the A1 object will have an expected life span of 50 years. Three types of A1 Acrylic Sealer are available: A1 Easy Seal Matt and A1 Easy Seal Gloss, and A1 Easy Seal Satin. For the most matt result, we recommend that a layer of A1 Easy Seal Gloss is applied first, followed by a layer of A1 Easy Seal Matt. A1 Easy Seal has a number of advantages: 1 component, solvent-free, water-based, fast-drying, easy to use, good UV-resistance, excellent adhesion, protection against dirt and effective protection against moisture.
