Engineered for ultimate toughness, it features PTFE high temp seals, 38NCD4 alloy steel shaft which has been hardened and tempered with a hard chrome coating manufactured with a 25-30 micron accuracy thickness, billet aluminium alloy shock body,  regenerable oleo gear with bi-lamination piston and baffle plate compensation, LUBRIFLON-PTFE B70 piston runner guide (bronze-loaded modified compound)………. Safe to say this shock is engineered and manufactured WELL beyond the demands of normal road riding. This shock is capable of delivering unbelievable stability and consistency even at extreme temperatures, under the most demanding circumstances. As far as longevity goes, Malossi also make a full rebuild kit for this shock in the event that you want to fiddle with the internals (if youre so inclined). This shock is 294mm long, 9mm longer than the factory 285mm. This height difference is set from Malossi for the optimum performance for this shock.
