Description This is the same hinoki cubes we use in our handmade hinoki pillows. We simply pack it in a bag and ship it to you. Japanese Hinoki Rounded Chips 500g(1.1lbs) 1,000g(2.2lbs) 2,000g(4.4lbs) Please note that this is a bag of hinoki chips only — pillow covers or fabric cases are not included. Depending on the environment, the smell of hinoki will gradually diminish. You can add them directly to your bath, place them in a ceramic dish with a few drops of essential oil, or use them to refresh your bedroom, closet, or living space with the clean, calming scent of the forest. Hinoki, Japanese cypress has a fresh coniferous woody scent.    It has a special polishing process and rounded corners. It is very gentle to the touch. You may notice a natural oil residue on the surface of the chips — this is the tree’s own essential oil and a sign of quality. Hinoki chips (cubes) are expected to have natural humidity control, deodorizing, and insect control effects. These tips are rounded off at the corners using a special manufacturing process and look lovely.   Hinoki contains cypress oil. The component of the cypress oil is said to have the effect of making the parasympathetic nervous system dominant. Hinoki has a refreshing woody aroma as if you are taking a forest bath. Data show that alpha-pinene, the main component of this fragrance, makes the parasympathetic nervous system dominant.
