The rear shock takes up most of the weight of the rider, particularly as you’re corning – the centrifugal force increases the force of the riders weight on the rear suspension. The YSS ‘E’ is far stronger, and beefed up compared to the stock shock. It features a beautifully cast aluminium body, CNC anodized spring retainer cuffs and locking adjusting nuts. The ‘E’ range of shocks from YSS is essentially the same as the ‘C’ range, without the piggyback reservoir. The E-Series dampers are filled with oil and nitrogen. The perfect design ensures a sensitive response and good stability even under hard conditions. The best components, such as the special Sinter-Seal block seals and the hard chrome piston rods are used here. The spring preload is continuously adjustable. The aluminium shock absorber is anodised to a high quality.
